How to write a guard contract - Compensation - 2019
Are you a parent, former day care worker or retired teacher
who is interested in starting a home daycare? If so, a daycare contract is
important. This contract protects you and
your business.
So what should the day care contract include?
Tax rates
It is likely that asylum rates vary based on the age and
duration of the assistance provided. For this reason, you can leave this
section empty for now. Before you have a parent sign your contract, enter the amount
of money they agreed to pay.
This is also the place where any late or anticipated taxes
are outlined, in case the parents have to abandon or take their children
differently.
Payment options
Here is where you can outline how you want to accept payment
(such as checks or cash) and when payment must be made. To protect your
finances, choose a specific day, for example on a Monday, when the payment MUST
be made.
This is also the point at which the fees for a late payment
are outlined.
Holiday
This section is optional, but highly encouraged. Outline if
you plan to take a week's vacation once a year. State that you will give the
appropriate notice and if your vacation time will be paid or not.
Working parents also receive vacation; therefore, it should
be highlighted in the support contract. Some day centers allow parents a week
of free or discounted time each year.
Food and beverages
With the exception of infants and newborns, who need infant
formula, daycares tend to provide food and drink for children. If you do, make
sure this is taken into account when determining your rates.
Describe here the
importance of knowing all food allergies and preferences.
Disease
As a nursery, it is your job to provide a safe and healthy
environment for all your children. The decision is yours, but most nursery
providers do not accept sick children, especially those with fever or vomiting.
Regardless of what
your personal illness policy is, describe your support contract.
Medicine
To protect all children and your interests, never give the
medicine without parental authorization. In fact, you should have a separate
form for this. Offer parents the possibility to choose the drugs to be given to
the child, the option to say no, or the option to contact them first.
Warning
The points mentioned above are all points that you will want
to cover with a watch contract; however, they are only examples. Add or delete
other important childcare contract titles as you see fit.
